Sessions Guide

Here are some resources to help you create a dynamic and engaging mentoring session. The topics were thoughtfully designed to align with the goals and expectations of the mentorship program.

Class Reference Guide

Each level has its own corresponding book unit. A student’s level is determined based on their proficiency test score during the selection process. Levels are further divided into sublevels A and B.

  • Sublevel A covers units 1 to 6 of the book.
  • Sublevel B covers units 7 to 12 of the book.

The levels align with proficiency as follows:

  • Levels 1 and 2 correspond to Beginner.
  • Levels 3 and 4 correspond to Intermediate.
  • Levels 5 and 6 correspond to Advanced.

The table below outlines the class dates and the corresponding book units to be studied during each period. For example, from February 1st to February 15th, students will study the first unit of their respective book.

Practical Example: If your student is in Level 1A, they will use the book for Level 1A. In their first three classes, they will study the content of Unit 1 from that book.

Important Reminder!Classes occur every Saturday from 11:00AM to 12:30PM (BRT).
Do not book a mentoring session during this time.

DateClassesWhich unit will they be studying?
From Feb 1st to Feb 15th1, 2, 31st unit
From Feb 22nd to Mar 7th4, 5, 62nd unit
From Mar 14th to Mar 28th7, 8, 93rd unit

From Apr 25th to May 9th13, 14, 155th unit
From May 16th to May 30th16, 17, 186th unit

Use this unit overview to stay up-to-date on your mentee's learning journey. Knowing what they're covering in class will help you provide targeted support.

Note: Classes and mentoring sessions are NOT the same. This guide is a reference to help you, as a mentor, understand what your mentee is learning in their classes.
